UPDATE: Full Capacity Hospitals (Intellicare)

Dear Partners,

The World Health Organization recently confirmed that the delta variant of the SARS-COV-2 virus has become the dominant variant in the Philippines. Much like the situation in other countries, the surge driven by the delta variant has caused a lot of hospitals to reach their full capacity for COVID-19 cases. Below is the number of hospitals at full capacity, as of October 22, 2021:

  • NCR - 38
  • Region 1 (Ilocos Region)- 0
  • Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) - 1
  • Region 3 (Central Luzon) - 19
  • Region 4-A (CALABARZON) - 38
  • Region 4-B (MIMAROPA) - 5
  • Region 5 (Bicol Region) - 10
  • Region 6 (Western Visayas) - 17
  • Region 7 (Central Visayas) - 5
  • Region 8 (Eastern Visayas) - 2
  • Region 9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) - 2
  • Region 10 (Northern Mindanao) - 6
  • Region 11 (Davao Region) -9
  • Region 12 (SOCCSKARGEN) - 3
  • Region 13 (CARAGA) – 0
