Over the weekend, the country’s confirmed COVID-19 cases exceeded 1,000 and has spread in areas outside of Metro Manila.

Last week, the Insurance Commission released guidelines for insurance and HMO companies to extend the coverage period of insurance policies, pre-need plans and HMO agreements – for those policies affected during the enhanced community quarantine.
